hysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Pediatrics Location: Leavenworth, Kansas Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Specialty: Pediatrics Schedule: Flexible Hours Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time About the Position We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our pediatric therapy team in Leavenworth, Kansas. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work closely with children and their families while helping young patients reach their developmental and functional goals. Responsibilities Provide pediatric physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist children in improving strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional skills Use age-appropriate and engaging therapeutic activities Monitor and communicate patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist Provide education and support to families and caregivers Maintain accurate and timely documentation Create a fun, encouraging, and supportive therapy environment Qualifications Current Kansas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Pediatric experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patient, compassionate, and energetic approach to working with children Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, families, and caregivers Why Join Us?
