We are an independently owned Jackson Hewitt Tax Service franchise seeking approximately eight experienced, full-time seasonal Tax Preparers across three storefront offices - SICKLERVILLE, RUNNEMEDE, AND GLOUCESTER CITY - SOUTH JERSEY.

What you will do:

• Prepare accurate individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Interview clients thoroughly to understand their tax situations and identify applicable deductions and credits.
• Review supporting documents and resolve missing or inconsistent information.
• Explain tax results and available services clearly and professionally.
• Deliver friendly, attentive service that encourages clients to return and refer family and friends.
• Schedule appointments and follow up with new and returning clients.
• Work with your office team to manage appointments, serve walk-in clients, and meet tax-season goals.
• Protect confidential information and follow applicable tax preparation requirements and company procedures.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience preparing individual income tax returns in a professional, paid setting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state individual income taxes.
• Confidence using tax preparation software and learning new systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
• Dependability and the ability to stay organized during a busy tax season.
• A friendly, professional attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Availability for full-time seasonal work, including evenings and weekends, as required.
• Ability to meet applicable tax preparer registration and credential requirements.
